Kiyanna Torres: 14-2

Kiyanna Torres started playing volleyball when she was in the 3rd grade and played for 10 years non-stop. She graduated from Pitman High School last spring and now attends California State University, Stanislaus with aspirations of becoming an educator of those with special needs. She was the Varsity Volleyball setter her junior and senior years for Pitman High School.

She received Athlete of the Week in the Modesto Bee the first week of preseason, as well as the CCC League MVP as a junior. Her junior year she was honored with the Female Scholar Athlete award as well. As a junior and senior, she received the academic award earning a 3.5 or higher GPA.

She was a part of the 2015 and 2016 section championship games where Pitman was victorious both years as Division 1 Section Champions. All four years playing at Pitman, she earned the team MVP award and helped her team to CCC League Championships.

She is truly excited to work with the 14-2 girls in hopes of them becoming better players both on and off the court.
